Horse Safety
Impact 2818 strives to meet excellence in safety in our horse program. We look to CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) for nationally recognized standards and put these into practice in our horse program. Our new, modern facility, which includes an indoor riding arena, is an environment of cleanliness and safety.
We keep low ratios in our program to provide optimal supervision during horse camp. Our staff helps campers to learn how to keep themselves and their assigned horse safe during all activities. This includes proper headgear, riding attire and tack as well as actions and behavior in the barn, on the trails and around the horses. Campers are evaluated on the first day of camp and matched with a horse that is comparable to their skill level. And our horses are a year round herd, which helps to give consistency to our horse program.
