The Shepherd Program

The Shepherd Program is designed for volunteer directors who give of their time to plan and lead awesome summer camps. Camp changes lives, and we want to guarantee that our volunteer directors can be with their students and families during their camp experience.

In the past, every Impact 2818 camp event was open to anyone wanting to register. Registrations were accepted until the camp reached its capacity, at which time new registrants were put on a waiting list. Now, the Shepherd Program allows Directors to reserve registration spaces in their camp for members of their flock.

Participating in the Shepherd Program is simple. Just decide how many campers you plan to bring to your week of camp this summer. Contact your Program Manager to reserve the spots in your camp. Once the request is processed, you will receive a key code specific to your church. This allows your campers to fill your Shepherd Spaces through our online registration process. Once you distribute the code to your campers, they will be able to go online and choose the camp you are directing (it will be listed by event code and your church name). Only campers with this key code will be able to register for that particular event. If your campers are registering with a paper form, be sure they include your church name and the key code on the registration form to qualify for a reserved space.

You have until June 1st to keep your reserved spaces. At that time, you may either take financial responsibility for any unfilled spaces, or you may release the spaces to students on the waiting list.
